| The glass manufacturing facility in the city Schwepnitz near Dresden (federal free state Saxony) has been producing crystal glass according to old craft traditions for over 130 years. The Klahn brothers founded the first glass company in Schwepnitz in 1865. Originally, the plant produced light bulbs. However, due to financial difficulties this plant was shut down a year later in 1866. |
