Springfields was founded by John and Gillian Kerr in 1989. A passion for natural health led to their introduction to the gentle world of Aromatherapy. It has since become a passion for John, who has served on many industry associations, and is a recognised international lecturer in Asia, the USA and UK.
John is a member of the IFA, and is currently serving as Vice Chairperson on the committee. He has studied Botanical Medicine and continues to research all areas of aromatherapy. He is currently working closely with several medical establishments, training nurses and other health carers in the use of aromatherapy.
For the past 6 years, John and Gillian have also been publishing ‘Aromatherapy Today’, a quarterly journal dedicated to providing aromatherapists with up-to-date information from around the world. This journal is now sold in over 30 countries.
