It was an age when elegantly designed cosmetic pieces were showpieces and conversation starters. Body & Soul returns to that era of elegance and sophistication, bringing back the romance and beauty of make-up.


The inspiration for the line's packaging came from forays to thrift shops, garage sales and antique stores for vintage powder compacts, talc tins, perfume bottles and lipstick cases. For a look unique to Body & Soul, Tao Miller, owner of the company, collaborated with illustrator, Ann Fields, best known for her Levi's women advertising campaign and the Starbucks logo. The result is the creation and introduction of "Gigi", the line's first signature model, who is featured on most items of the line.


Each Body & Soul cosmetic packaging is a collectable. "Gigi" is the signature model now. The successive faces of Body & Soul will be the creations of other well-known artists and "Gigi" will retire.
