칼루 Kaloo is a success story in the highly competitive sector of soft toys and baby items.
The brand was created in 1998 by a French national Eric Panciulo, who set up his first company in 1990. Originally a toy manufacturer, he has transformed his company into a specialized one in the design and production of soft toys and baby items. The company which was mainly set up for the European market, now exports to about 35 countries.
Offices are located in France for European market, Canada for the North American market and Hong Kong for Asia.
After only a few years, kaloo has gained market shares and had become a well-known brand in many countries. A baby fragrance was launched in 2001 by the Millennium Essence Company (MEC). The Kaloo fragrances ranked second on the market of children's perfumes in 2003.
